MEDA
was founded in 1989 as a Media Training Department in
Arascope. In 2003, Arascope Professional Media Production
Company", began to expand its media training activities,
and established the Media Education & Development
Academy "MEDA", as a separate entity, has
its own governance and budget, in order to meet the
increasing needs for professionally trained staff in
the field of audio-visual media. MEDA subsequently developed
into a full-fledged Academy with three major training
units in the fields of Audio Engineering, Video production
and 3D Animation. MEDA has developed an exceptional
reputation for its capacity to enhance its courses that
include the needed academic information with hands-on
practical exercises and applications. The advantage
of being a media training academy, that is resident
within a professional Media Production Company "Arascope",
is to give MEDA's trainees the opportunity to be trained
and work within a real media professional context.

Directing for film requires the mastery of a broad and seemingly incompatible set of skills. A director must think and feel with the artistic sense of a visionary, while at the same time contending with the complex logistical difficulties of a film shoot.
