Script Writing

Course Description:
In 10-sessions course, the trainee will learn the basic structures of scriptwriting
that focus on character, dialogue and basic storytelling. He/She will be familiar
of the entire production process and the major role that the script plays in media
production.
The second part of the course will be delivered in a workshop setting where trainee
will read other trainees' work while giving and receiving constructive criticism.
By the end of the course, each trainee will write a short script.
Main Goal of the Course:
The main goal of this course is to introduce the trainee to the TV and film basics
of scriptwriting from concept to first draft screenplay.
Pre-requisites:
Basic writing skills are required. Pre-enrolment assessment will be through evaluating
the applicant's work in two exercises before starting the course.
