Basic Audio Course

Course Description:
This course introduces students to audio engineering on the basic theoretical
and practical levels. A basic course to develop the understanding and skills needed
to make audio recordings. Participation with microphones, recording formats, mixers,
and processors, and audio production via digital audio workstations will aid the
trainees' understanding of operating principles, concept of sound, electricity,
and production values. Listening skills will be emphasized along with assignments
of recording and editing.
Main Goal of the Course:
The main goal of this course is to introduce the process, tools and techniques used in creating audio programs or recordings that have standard broadcast quality.
Pre-requisites:
No academic pre-requisites. Basic computer skills and fair English knowledge will
be appreciated.
