In order to encourage individuals and organization to
develop their media production skills, MEDA establishes
partnerships with other organizations and training institutes,
and carrying out joint cooperative programs to enhance
its education and training programs.
Through such partnerships, MEDA facilities are accessible
to individuals and members of other organizations.
In 2006-2007, MEDA as the Media Training Division of
Arascope, worked with the Information Technology Institute
(ITI) in Egypt, as a partner within the Knowledge Transfer
Partnership (KTP), in training 10 trainees on producing
a broadcast quality 3D animation song, that will be
aired soon on local and satellite TV stations.
MEDA is the media training division of Arascope, while
MADEV, (Media Arts for
Development) is an Egyptian non-governmental organization
launched by Arascope in 2005. MADEV believes in the
'edutainment' approach to development through media,
and believes in social transformation through education.
MEDA, in cooperation with MADEV, are committed to educating
and training young graduates and development workers
who are involved in media development at the grass roots
level in various media. These include directing, producing,
script writing, camera work, editing, audio engineering,
multi-media, animation, audio-visual techniques and
graphics.

Newsletter
MEDA publishes a news letter from time to time, in order
to update the trainees, alumni and clients with whatever
news and events. MEDA also like to keep in touch with
them, in order to listen to their stories and follow
up with them on their business life.
