VALIDATION of MEDA Training
Courses
The Media Education & Development Academy (MEDA)
has its own organizational and financial structure.
In order to be validated/accredited as a vocational
training academy, MEDA has to stand alone as a separate
entity from Arascope.
Some other organizational and academic requirements
have been considered in order to meet the international
criteria for validation of such institutions. On the
academic level, MEDA had to design its own training
programs, to develop vocational training curricula,
and to set its educational goals, objectives, assessment
tools and strategies that help MEDA to contribute to
the media training and industry in Egypt and the region.
Both Organizational and Academic requirements have been
met through establishing the Media Education and Development
Academy (MEDA), and developing its curricula and courses
that include theoretical and practical parts, accompanied
with hands-on training activities.
The Academic office of MEDA had investigated different
opportunities for the validation/accreditation through
some international universities and accreditation bodies.
The process is ongoing, and we hope that our training
courses and programs will be accredited soon. |
